Technical Presales Consultant/Intern

KubeNiche Inc is a professional services and consulting Startup specializing in Kubernetes and cloud native services. We are new; however, this is not our first venture in Kubernetes world. Our co-founder is an experienced could architect who has niche hands on expertise in designing, implementation & operationalization of Highly Scalable and Secure Kubernetes Platforms for Enterprises across North America.

We are looking to hire a highly motivated Technical Presales Intern/consultant willing to work with a start up.

Responsibilities:

  • Take a leading role in specifying technical solutions, writing proposals & SOWs to support project delivery.
  • Deliver service presentations and demonstrations and provide support at external and internal customer facing events.
  • Support the Sales Team with customer-facing technical pre-sales assistance.
  • Build a working relationship with prospects (including lead generation) and/or existing customers.
  • Working closely with Sales to ensure successful closure of the sales process.
  • Keeping abreast of market trends and services & competitors.
  • Explain, demonstrate, and prove in-depth what KubeNiche’s offerings can do and how to enable, onboard & operate them for customers.
  • Perform any other / or additional duties as dictated by the needs of the business.

 

Requirements:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, as this role necessitates working with a highly skilled and varied team of consultants, leadership, and sales focused professionals
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or relevant job experience required
  • Experience Sales Engineering, Professional Service or Technical Consulting experience preferred
  • Demonstrates an understanding of Web Servers, Application Servers, Databases, Containers, etc.
  • You possess strong problem solving and prioritization skills
  • Proven Technical and IT Services pre-sales experience
  • Proposal writing experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation, demonstration, and organisational skills
  • Candidates must be able to work independently.
  • Ability to explain and present technical solutions
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Affinity to both sales and technology functions
  • Working closely with Sales to ensure successful closure of the sales process
  • Experience in the cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps is a big plus
  • Experience providing technical sales support for cloud Infrastructure environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) preferred
